 Dr. Juan J. Lista Garcia was born in Matanzas, Cuba on 31 October 1965 and started practising Joshimon Shorin Ryu in 1982. He got his Shodan in 1987, Nidan in 1988, Sandan in 1992 and Yondan in 2003 after having finalized his specialisation in Internal Medicine and being in S.A. for some years and re-initiating systematic training again.
Currently based in Pongola, a little hamlet in Kwa-Zulu Natal close to the Swazi border, his major dream is to develop Joshimon Shorin Ryu so that it can become known in S.A.
